What are Ridge Groups?
Ridge Groups are small groups of people that meet together in order to encourage one another to grow in their relationships with God, each other, and the world around them. There are three sessions of Ridge Groups every year, with each session lasting about 10 weeks.
Why Ridge Groups?
We believe that life-change happens best in community. Ridge Groups are a great place to take next steps with God no matter where you are at in your journey.
When Jesus was given the mission of reaching the world with the message of His love and grace, Jesus modeled a life-changing strategy: he poured his life into a small group (his disciples).
The early church also provided a model of life-changing community – meeting and sharing together daily in the course of their everyday lives. "They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Every day they continued to meet together... they broke bread in their homes and ate together... And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." Acts 2:42, 44, 46-47

There are two types of groups at The Ridge:
Community Groups
A group where you can take next steps with God and experience life together.
- Community Groups usually unpack and discuss the topic of the weekend message.
- Community Groups are geographically based: close to where the group members live, making it easy to get together for regular and spontaneous gatherings.
- Community Groups are inter-generational: younger, older, single, and married people doing life together.
- Community Groups help expand your vision of what God can do through and in your life.
Equip Groups
A group where you discover new information on a specific topic for life application.
- Equip groups focus on a specific topic that people are currently trying to work through in their lives.
- Equip Groups meet for a set period of time.
- Equip Groups lead members towards a long-term connection in community.
